Our vision
We strive to create games, that are of course entertaining, but also confront players with their own selves.
Who are they? Who do they want to be?
We find inspiration in the real world, and just like a Klabautermann, try to send warnings about threats we perceive in the world.
In Rottenroots, themes like the re-emergence of ultra right ideas, the fate of the LGBTQ+ community, and geopolitical conflicts are heavily featured. But there's also humor. And love. Hope.
